Hanuman Sindoor is a traditional orange colored powder, usually offered to Lord Hanuman idols.
Applying sindoor pleases Hanuman and gives strength, protection from evil eyes and makes the worshipper fearless. It protects us from an accident and we can get rid of from debt.
As per Ramayana, Sita mata had applied on the parting of her hairline. Upon asked by Hanuman about the reason behind applying it, Sita Mata replied to the bhakt of Lord Rama that she applied the sindoor for her husband’s long life and to make him happy.
