Balarama Shaligram Shila



A shaligram or shaligrama shila is a particular variety of stone collected from riverbed or banks of the Kali Gandaki, a tributary of the Gandaki River in Nepalw which represents Lord Vishnu.

Balarama Shaligram is specifically associated with the deity Balarama, who is the elder brother of Lord Krishna and an incarnation of the god Vishnu. Balarama is often depicted carrying a plough, which symbolizes his role as a farmer and his connection to the earth. He is also known for his strength and is considered a protector and guide for devotees.
