A shaligram or shaligrama shila is a particular variety of stone collected from riverbed or banks of the Kali Gandaki, a tributary of the Gandaki River in Nepalw which represents Lord Vishnu.
The Laxmi Shaligram is considered especially auspicious as it is believed to embody the goddess Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, and abundance. It is often used in rituals and ceremonies to attract blessings of prosperity and good fortune.
